Alex will be talking about the new challenges facing business in a world where everyone can be connected to everyone else and the most exciting material online is created despite the efforts of big business, not because of them. He will present his view of where social computing and collaborative networks will lead and suggest how business can choose to adapt and adopt or ignore the trends. Drawing on his experience in Financial Services, his experience in working with the world's leading technology providers and the patronising advice of his teenage children, he will illustrate the dangers and opportunities for big, dull businesses trying to grow their share of the burgeoning online market. |
